Garden Detectives!

After the first activity, you all must be aware of the differences between living and non-living things.

Now, let's have some more fun by playing this game. Click on the image below to take you to the game.

In this game, we explore some living things in an Australian backyard. We will also learn that living things can be grouped based on observable features.

Activity after playing the game:

We, including scientists, classify living things into groups to make sense of the world around us and to communicate about it. So, in this activity we are going to group living things.

  • Group the living things in the list from your previous activity based on similar observable characteristics, like in the game.
  •  Also include what is the similar characteristic of the group.
  • You can add more living things from your own knowledge or observations in your daily life.
